STORY OF OUR COMPANY

VBS Excavating has had its roots in the Okanagan for over 35 years. The business was established in 1986 as a one-man one-machine operation and has evolved into a team of skilled personnel with a multitude of equipment. Our family business is now being run by members of the second generation, with Rod stepping back from the day-to-day operations and his two sons, Jared and Jeff, taking the reigns. VBS Excavating is continuing with its commitment to quality and safety, building and maintaining good relationships with all its clients.

Wide Range of Community Services

Over the years our team has undertaken a number of community projects, some of them are:

We have helped in developing many parks for the community, including Dunant Neighborhood park, Skaha Discovery park and Granby Neighborhood Park.
The SS Naramata was left with a tilt after the flooding in 2017. We assisted the S.S. Sicamous Restoration Society in getting the vessel to sit upright and proud when we had high water in 2020!
Year after year, we have been a supporter of the Discovery House Golf Tournament, and we have donated to their Father's Day Fundraiser by providing a water truck for their dunk tank. We also provided topsoil and other materials for their community garden, which we delivered.
For many years, we have been a sponsor of the Peach City Beach Cruise.
